I don’t think these tears  will fade,
I know you despise all we were.
I have the ability to change what I was,
Show you what I was meant to be.
You turned your back as I took this plunge,
Into my own demise, my own self destruction.
On the broken bent knees I still wont pray,
I know that today may be my final breath.
I still look outside with a sliver of hope,
Hoping to catch a glimpse into your soul just one more time.
I am on a downward spiral, its all my own doing;
I do not know how much long I can hang on.
I beauty I use to see in life has become so many shades of gray.
There are not enough needles to numb the pain,
All the lines in the would would not help to ease the memories.
I know these tears will never fade, I made have done this to myself;
But I am not the same as I once was, I can never be again.
Hurting myself was just a process.
Hurting myself was a failure of progress.

Our last words full of anguish full of demise,
Your heart rusted, mine shattered away.
Completion seems such a farce,
A storybook tale told to lead astray.
My one desire has become memory of sorrow,
Forever haunting my mind leaving a beautiful scar across my soul.

And now I await the endless black, the final sleep.
I wish I could have been much more then the horrid me.
